All profits from the 3 MUMC Youth Fundraisers are gathered for our summer missions experiences (ie Mission Survivor & Sr High Costa Rica Trip). The finances first cover overhead costs of transportation, adult leaders & deposits. The remaining funds are passed onto students as discounts using the following system...

7th and 8th grade students in 2011-2012 school year
Mission Survivor Cost: $105.00
Possible Discount: $30.00*

*received by earning 12 service points
NOTE: For this year, the points system only applies towards Mission Survivor. Next year, this discount system will apply to both Jr High & Sr High Trips.

How do I earn Service Points?
1 Point is earned by serving 1 hour in the following categories (between Jan-May 2011)

Who keeps track of Service Points & Attendance?
- Aaron keeps records of those who help with fundraisers and student attendance.
- YOU are responsible for recording hours as MUMC or Community Servants. Use this form.
What are the exceptions to this system?
- Any family that has more than one student participating in a summer mission experience will automatically receive the discounted prices.
How can additional funds be raised?
- Send out a support letter to friends, relatives or church family members.
Parents: Also encourage your teen to begin to save money they earn for these experiences. Deposits for either trip can be made at any time by visiting the church office.
