Aaron and his wife Janice grew up in Eureka, IL.  Aaron attended Hesston College for two years and then completed his Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry at Huntington University.   Aaron has been involved in leading youth ministry since 2003 and continues to love guiding students closer towards Abundant Life found in Jesus Christ.  After two and a half years of serving as missionaries in Colorado Springs, Aaron began to serve full-time at Morton UMC.  He loves to sing, cook, play the piano & guitar, play Ultimate Frisbee, take his bride on dates and wrestle with his children, Titus & Mikaela. 

Amanda was born and raised in west central Illinois. She attended Greenville College where she met her husband Brian and earned a BS in Management of Information Systems. After graduating she began a career at Risk Management Solutions (RMS) which brought her to Morton, IL. After a long run at RMS, Amanda decided to hang up her business suit and suitcases to become a stay at home Mom to their daughter. In her free time she enjoys spoiling her daughter, hanging out with family over a game of Pinochle, playing piano, cooking, and shopping at Ackerman Farms. "I love working with the Youth for the same reason I love being a stay at home Mom... It fills my heart with joy!"

Bob grew up in Elkhart, IL and graduated from Mt. Pulaski High school.  He is a loyal Illini and holds a Ph.D. in Entomology and studies insects (actually how little bugs - germs, bacteria, viruses - can killl insects) for the Agricultural Research Service of the USDA.  He and his wife Suzanne have two children, Max and Hannah.  Bob is often seen wearing camouflage which is explained by his hunting hobby.  Bob says he likes working with MUMC Youth because, "They almost always make me laugh and laughter is good for me."

Carrie Hoefling was born and raised in Peoria, IL and is married to Darren.  An Alum of both Illinois Central College and Eureka College, she currently works as an EP Tech at St. Francis Medical Center where she helps implant pacemakers and defibrillators.  Nicholas and Tanner are her sons whom she loves almost as much as Payton, her dog.  Carrie enjoys gardening, traveling and hunting (for bargains).  About MUMC Youth, she says, "Youth make me smile and realize how much I love kids."

Bill and Char were both born and raised in Eureka.  They now have 2 sons Jonathan and Joe.  Bill has worked for the State of Illinois for 26 years with most of his time at Pontiac Correctional Center.  For the last two years he has served as an assistant to the Warden creating and coordinating policy and procedure for the facility.  He is also a part-time deputy in Woodford County and a part-time officer in El Paso.  As for his spare time, most of that is spent attending sporting and musical events that Jon and Joe take part in, but he does like to hunt (deer) and fish. Char is an R.N. and has spent the last 19 years working at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, most recently in the PACU (Surgical Recovery Room).  She is very passionate about injury prevention in children most specifically car seat safety.  She remains active in the community helping with trainings and car seat check events.  Most of her spare time is dedicated to Jon and Joe and their events, but she enjoys running and baking (what an odd combination!).

Donna was born in Minnesota and has lived several places but settled here in Morton as a freshmen in high school.  She is now married to Paul and they have 5 awesome kids (Jacob, Ashley, Hayley, Brianna and Caleb) and one adopted "child," a yorkie named Moses.  Donna works at Ackerman Farms, has a business called Baked Blessings which she does with Lisa Rodeghiero, and is the domestic engineer at the Uhlman home.  If you haven't noticed, she adores the color pink and in her spare time (ha), she like to shop, scrapbook, read and visit Starbucks.  She feels privileged to work serving the Lord along side of the youth of MUMC.

Greg and Shelly have lived in Morton almost their entire lives!    Shelly graduated from Illinois State University and works at State Farm Insurance in Bloomington.   In the summer she can be found outdoors soaking up the sun, but in the winter she will be wrapped in a blanket near the fire.  Greg works at Central Illinois Trucks in Morton, where he has been for the past 15 years.   He enjoys hunting, fishing and building almost anything!    Greg and Shelly have two daughters, Brittany (21) and Taylor (12).   They look forward to working with the youth and watching them grow in their faith.

Janice Yoder grew up and graduated from Eureka High School but not before meeting her (future) husband, Aaron, through marching band.  After attending Illinois Central College & Huntington University, Janice and Aaron got married and moved to Colorado Springs.  Now Janice and her family with Aaron, Titus & Mikaela live in Morton.  She now owns her very own bridal boutique, Adore Bridal & Specialty.  Janice helps her husband as often as possible with youth ministry, occasionally quilts & loves to cuddle with her children...and her husband.

_Joe grew up in Iowa and graduated from Wartburg College. He has spent most of his career in the EFT/Banking industry.  Sondra is a UNI Panther alum. She is the Computer Lab teacher at Lettie Brown School. Joe and Sondra moved to central Illinois 23 years ago. They have two grown sons, Zachary and Blake, and a son, Wesley who is in high school.  Joe has been a devout Pittsburgh Steelers fan since he was little.  He enjoys riding his Harley, vacations on the Outer Banks, playing any kind of competitive game, and spending time with his family. Joe and Sondra have both enjoyed getting to know the junior high kids and have learned so much from them already!

Marci grew up in a little town in Ohio.  She met her husband Mike when she was in 2nd grade.  They went to church together, grew closer in youth group and got married a few years after graduation.  Before moving to Morton in 2004, Marci was a preschool teacher.  Mike & Marci have two boys (Dax and Finn), an older daughter (Lily) and a younger daughter (Juliet).  "I love the time I get to spend with my teenagers here at MUMC.  I have been blessed to teach confirmation to an amazing group.  I especially love my Wednesday night small group time and love watching these girls learn, change, and grow in God's grace."

Mike grew up in Rittman, OH and received an accounting degree from Baldwin-Wallace College before receiving his Masters of Accountancy from Cleveland State University.  He currently works in Global Finance for Caterpillar.  After marrying the girl of his dreams, Beth, and moving from Ohio to Michigan and now Illinois, they added three children (Cameron, Molly & Amanda) along the way.  When not helping coach sports teams for his children, Mike can be found running around Morton.  He has run in several half marathons and hopes to run his first full marathon and triathlon in the next year.  Mike is also an avid golfer and devoted Ohio State & Cleveland sports fan.  He is excited about the activities and opportunities to work with the MUMC youth.

Originally from Manito, Robert has been a career student for the majority of his life.  He has attended multiple colleges and has earned an equivalent number of degrees. Robert finally retired from his schooling in 2006 when he earned his Master’s degree of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies from Des Moines University. He now works as a Physician Assistant for Pekin Orthopedics.  Along the way he met and married his wife, Erin. After several moves, they have come to settle in Morton. With 3 boys (Carter, Collin, and Rylan) being born in the past 4 ½ years, they are well on their way to raising the majority of the starting line up for the future Morton Potter’s boys basketball team. Over the warmer months of the past 2 years Robert’s most recent passion has been training for and competing in races, including ½ marathons and triathlons. When the weather turns colder you are likely to find him in a tree stand, bow or shot gun hunting for deer. Robert is looking forward to working with and getting to know the senior high school students as a youth leader.

Vicki graduated from Morton High School and Methodist Medical Center School of Nursing last century.  She has been a cardiac nurse for 30 years.  She raised 2 boys into young men.  Ty is in Kentucky working with collision repair and custom painting.  Parker is using ICC as a stepping stone towards an engineering degree.  Vicki loves yard work, scrap booking, card making, walking her 2 dogs, and reading.  Family is always a priority!
